World Bank Unit Puts $150M Into Colombian Infrastructure

Law360, New York (August 05, 2013, 6:01 PM ET) — The World Bank Group’s International Finance Corp. and two funds run by its asset management division have signed an agreement to make a $150 million equity investment in Pacific Infrastructure Ventures to bolster oil and gas production in Colombia, the IFC said Monday.

The IFC, its global infrastructure fund and its African, Latin American and Caribbean fund will provide the equity to Pacific Infrastructure to develop port, storage and transportation assets in Colombia. The capital will go primarily to develop a new liquid import-export terminal and a…
