Colombia’s ANI finalizes 10 prequalified companies for US$1.44bn in hwy projects

Colombia’s national infrastructure agency ANI has selected 10 prequalified firms for two highway projects totaling 2.77tn pesos (US$1.44bn) in investment.

The agency picked the prequalified companies and consortiums for the 1.47tn-peso Mulaló-Loboguerrero highway and the 1.3tn-peso Girardot-Puerto Salgar highway.

Both projects are part of the Colombian government’s 43.9tn-peso fourth generation of concessions, which involves 30 highway, ports and airport projects.

In the case of the Mulaló-Loboguerrero highway, the 10 prequalified consortiums are:

– Consorcio Strabag-Concay

– Estructural Plural Tradeco Credicor

– Concesionaria 4G Eurolat del Valle

– Constructora Andrade Gutierrez, Pavimentos Colombia and Sainc Ingenieros Constructores

– Estructura Plural Concesionaria Vial del Pacífico

– OHL Colombia

– Vinci-Conconcreto and Vinci del Pacífico

– Impregilo-Salini

– Estructura Plural Odebrecht

– SAC VT

The consortiums and companies selected are comprised of firms from Austria, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Spain, Brazil, France and Italy, the agency said in a press release.

Back in May the agency received a total of 16 expressions of interest for construction of the 32km highway, which also includes the rehabilitation of the 52km Cali-Loboguerrero highway.

GIRARDOT-PUERTO SALGAR

ANI also chose the 10 prequalified bids that will move forward in the tendering process for the 1.3tn-peso, 214km highway that will connect southern Colombia with the country’s central and Caribbean regions.

The 10 prequalified bids were presented by:

– Hidalgo e Hidalgo and Construcción y Administración

– Autopistas del Magdalena SPV

– Concesionaria 4G Eurolat Centro

– Constructora Andrade Gutierrez, Pavimentos Colombia and Sainc Ingenieros Constructores

– Impregilo-Salini

– Mario Alberto Huerta Cotes, Constructora MECO Colombia

– Grupo Odinsa, Mincivil, Construcciones El Cóndor, Termotécnica Coindustrial, ICEIN, Mota-Engil Engenharia e Construcao.

– Estructural Plural OHL Construcciones

– Infraestructura Vial Puerto Salgar

– Estructura Plural Cintra, Infraestructuras Colombia and Intervial Colombia.

The consortiums and companies selected are comprised of firms from Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Brazil, Portugal and Italy, the agency said in a separate release.

Back in April the agency received a total of 19 expressions of interest to participate in the project.
